about me
I'm a french-mauritian 3D and 2D artist who loves trying out
new ways to create. My current main softwares are Maya, Nuke, Mari, Substance Painter and DaVinci Resolve, and I'm currently learning Blender!
My passions are videography and photography, that I discovered when I got my first motorcycle. At that time, I was saving to buy myself an action camera. And from that point, I started experimenting with sound, editing, but most importantly, colorgrading. While my initial interested started with short clips, over time I started delving more and more into photography, so I could learn framing and composition.
I also have great interest in graphic design and it has fueled my passion to work on posters, fonts, and much more.
edu-
cation
I started my artistic journey as mentionned above through graphic design but also with traditional drawing and, believe it or not, through acting. At the time, I knew I liked art, but was struggling to grasp what drew me to it. What compelled me to create.
Eager to go from passion projects to, well, a mix of work AND passion projects, I enrolled into Curtin University's Graphic Design Bachelor in Mauritius. While I was definitely having fun, I felt like something was missing. That's when I understood that what I wanted, was to tell stories. But the problem was that I found myself unable to make them happen. I wanted the skills necessary to breathe life into my ideas.
That is when I discovered ESMA and started my new studies and new life in Lyon. There, I enrolled into the 3D Animation & VFX Master, and it has been the single best decision in my entire life.
Having finished my studies, I am more than eager to finally use all of my acquired knowledge to create the stories I've always wanted to tell.

An 8 minute long short film made over a year and a half. The story goes like so: Following the murder of his spouse, Don Sorrentino hosts a dinner with his henchman Alberto and Mirabella, the latter's wife. The events take a turn for the worst when Angelo, the Don's son, murders his own father and goes on a manhunt after the couple. It's an hommage to the film noir
genre and takes inspiration from Scarface, The Sopranos and Taxi Driver.
A 7 minute long short film on which I had the pleasure to work on as an intern. It follows the story of a rat and a pigeon, desperately trying to survive in the fictional city of Landrouha. Their paths meet when they both set sights on a slice of pizza, point from where they relentlessly fight for food. Their conflict ends when a homeless man shows them that sharing is all that matters to survive in such a cruel world.
A 30-seconds long short film made in the span of 8 weeks. It's about Arthur, a valorous knight and Gerald, an undead skeleton, both actors in a fantasy movie. In real life, they're great friends, but on set, they're mortal enemies. After shooting, Arthur narrates in a making-of styled interview how he tripped and fell during one of the most important takes.
